911 operators can dispatch police, fire, or emergency medical services to your location as quickly as possible.
You can call 911 from any phone, including a cell phone without an active plan, and it is free to use across Canada.
If you are unable to speak, stay on the line so the operator can listen for cues, or follow any silent emergency procedures available in your province (such as pressing a key or whispering).
